If no one is fighting, then after the general inventory and all creditors have been paid, then the executor will usually file what is called a final account. This final account must also be set for hearing.

Again because it is a public process this gives anyone and everyone an opportunity to appear at the hearing and contest the same.

During this entire process notice will be given by publication and by actually mailing paper notices to all interested parties. Not doing this correctly might require the entire probate or portions of it to be restarted.
